CORINTH, Miss. – The Lighthouse Classic is quickly becoming one of the country’s premier post-Thanskgiving events. This year’s edition was no different as some of the nation’s top prospects laced their sneakers up to shine at Corinth High School. Here’s our take on four of the top underclass prospects in attendance:
By: @BrandonClayPSB
Joshua Anderson (Baton Rouge, La.) – Madison Prep – 2017
Playing critical essays alongside talented seniors Brandon Sampson and Christion Thompson, Anderson showed that he is the next in line when they depart this spring. At 6-foot-4, the four-star guard possesses the length and skill needed to play all three perimeter positions. In this setting, Anderson showed that he’s able to knock down the open jump shot or attack the lane off of the bounce to create scoring chances.
Kevin Cheatham (Memphis, Tenn.) – Southwind HS – 2016
If Ole Miss signee Donte Dorsey-Fitzpatrick is Batman for Southwind, Cheatham is a more than college essay writing companies capable Robin. They needed every single play that Cheatham was able to make to head back to Memphis with a win over Velma Jackson. At 5-9, Cheatham is a point guard who showed that he can create for himself as well his teammates. On the defensive end, Cheatham’s quickness allows him to apply end-to-end ball pressure.
Antares Gwyn (Corinth, Miss.) – Corinth HS – 2016
The 6-3 swingman made the hometown crowd stand and cheer with his play. In Gwyn, we found a diamond in the rough who projects as critical lense essay a college scholarship caliber guard. He was able to create points off of the bounce while displaying touch on his shot as well. On a couple of possessions, he rose to the occasion finishing at the rim in transition over opposing defenders.
Raylon Richardson (Lithonia, Ga.) – Miller Grove HS – 2016
We expect Richardson’s recruitment to continue to take off after his play here. He’s a talented 6-7 forward willing to make all of the little plays to make his team better. Richardson’s activity around the basket allowed him to be impactful essay on my favourite movie three idiots in a game versus a Callaway HS team full of college prospects. Right now, Richardson, a three-star prospect, doesn’t have any scholarship offers. We don’t believe that will be the case much longer.
