Herron was impressive today in a match-up versus Christ the King today. He scored 18 points while also knocking down a few 3-pointers to do it. The left-handed wing is very good at creating space to get his jumper, but still adds the physical strength to be able to enforce his will in the essay about my worst holiday lane. His ability to score versus contact is what separates him from other wings in this class.

Heron is a talented wing player whose game has continued to grow since my October eval. He showed that he has added a consistent 3-pointer here. Heron’s athleticism, activity and ability to score make him a premier wing in the class nationally.

Heron is a well-built wing player who’s game is predicated upon strength and power. He has grown a few inches since Brandon’s last viewing of him. In one of the college academic essays skill breakdown drills he showed what he would be capable of, where he posted in the pinch post – power dribbled 2x towards the rim – then stepped back for the jumper. If his jumper does get consistent, he will be a big problem for opposing SF because he can defend his position on the end. However, thinly build wings will be an immediate disadvantage when trying to guard him.

Heron played with a similar style to my October eval. He is smooth on the wing hitting a 3-pointer here showing more range than he did in Colorado. His strength/activity is cyber bullying essays still his calling card but Heron is much more than a “hustle man” at the wing position.

Location: USA Basketball Developmental Mini-Camp (Colorado Springs, Colo.)
Heron is an active force on both ends of the floor. He dove on loose balls and is a bulldog. His frame and style of play is like Stanley Johnson (CA-14). Heron’s game is built on power play. He is a decent outside shooter but has room to improve in that area.
