Terrance Ferguson – (Dallas, Texas), – Dallas Prime Prep – 2015
Height: 6’5″
Position: Shooting Guard
Committed College: Arizona
Star Grade:
5-star

Date: December 12, 2015
Evaluator: Brandon Clay
Location: Team Takeover Showcase (Hyattsville, MD)

Ferguson has a really interesing game. In transition, he’s headed straight for the rim. In the halfcourt, he’s looking to pull the 3-pointer. I don’t know that I’ve seen him take a shot in between 5 feet and 20 during the multiple evals that I’ve watched him in. That said, Ferguson is always productive in the scoring column. This eval was no different.

Location: NBPA Top 100 Camp (Charlottesville, Va.)

Ferguson is a lanky shooting guard showcasing a smooth open floor handle. He hit a tough right-hand floater. Ferguson is long like Derrick Jones (PA-15) though more of a shooting specialist. He does bounce in the lane despite  his slender frame.

Ferguson is a long-armed wing with real range off of the catch and the bounce. I would like to see a little more consistency from him both in effort and aggressiveness.

Evaluator: Brandon Clay
Location: Under Armour Invitational (Houston, Texas.)

Ferguson played both the point guard and off spot here. He pulled a couple of 3-pointers from the volleyball line off the bounce. His game is smooth based on skill coupled with  elite athleticism.

Evaluator: Jonathan Hemingway
Location: Hoop Hall Classic (Springfield, Mass.)

Ferguson really opened my eyes here tonight to what he is as a player. He is much more of a 2/3 player with legit athleticism to match his unlimited range. He has much more ball-handling than he illustrated back in Kentucky. His high flying dunks on the break caught the attention of everyone in the stands.

Date: November 26, 2013
Evaluator: Jonathan Hemingway
Location: Marshall County Hoop Fest (Benton, Ky.)

Ferguson is a wing player who will pull from nearly anywhere in  the gym. Hit a few 3’s tonight from 25′. He has a similar game to Tayshaun Prince, in that he is a lanky tweener with perimeter range, but lacks the 6’9 length that Prince had.
