Central Florida Elite has been a #PSBFamily member for four years. The wealth of talent within the state of Florida is represented well by the CFE. This program routinely brings multiple teams at various age levels for high profile exposure opportunities at PSB tournaments. This year’s EYBL team competed at the highest level and qualified for the prestigious Nike National tournament that is played at the end of July. Here is a look back at their program in 2016.

Al Honor on the 2016 Season

“Our season went well from the standpoint that everyone on our team earned a scholarship offer during the course of the season. We currently have every 2017 prospect either committed or with a minimum of 2-3 offers. On the floor we competed and played hard consistently from one tournament to the next. We play on the toughest circuit in girls’ travel basketball and raised our competitive level over the course of the year. Although we fell short in achieving our goal of winning Nike Nationals, we still consider our season a success because we developed good basketball players. We helped each of them become better young women. Looking at next year, the transition should go well because we return three very talented players. We also look to add a high level player from the North Florida area. Plus we have a number of younger players within the program that are talented and ready to meet the challenge of playing on the circuit next season.”

Brandon Clay’s take on CFE

“Under the guidance of Al Honor, Central Florida Elite EYBL once again emerged from the summer as one of the nation’s premier club programs. With multiple Elite 100 ranked players by ProspectsNation.com and an alumni list too long to name, CFE is setting the gold standard for travel clubs inside the Sunshine State. Since joining the #PSBFamily in 2013, Honor’s work has been paying dividends for prospects in the club of all levels. 2016 was no different as CFE will once again reach double digits in members going on to play at the next level. Perhaps the most impressive trait of the club is their ability to never miss a beat from year to year. Each off season, Honor is tasked with replacing some of the nation’s top talent and each off season, he delivers. I look forward to seeing what 2017 holds for one of the flagship members of the #PSBFamily.”
