In a high powered line up this weekend at the Hoop Fest, Bridges came away as the biggest winner over the 4 day event. He scored 27 points and had 14 rebounds vs. Prolific Prep on Friday night. He then followed that up with a 34 point 10 rebound night vs. Quality Education. He has elevated himself into the discussion of one of the elite wing scorers in the country. He is consistent performer on one of the country’s premier prep teams.

Bridges has progressed into a go-to option for The Family. He changed shots in the lane defensively. On the offensive end, Bridges made the open 3-pointer and attacked to distribute off of the bounce.

Bridges turned in an efficient and impactful performance here tonight versus Arsenal Tech scoring 15 points on 6-8 shooting. We can put to bed all of the question marks about his position as his face up game is smooth and fluid. He connected on 1 of 3 three point shots in this game. However, the strength of his game continues to be his ability to finish at the rim as he has an explosive rise to the bucket.

agree with Jon’s last eval. To take that assessment a step further, Bridges was strictly on the wing here impacting every game that I watched him play. He’s so much stronger than the other 2016 wing players here that it’s impressive. A left-handed shooter, Bridges didn’t shoot it much from the outside preferring to do his damage off of the straight line drive in this eval.

I am beginning to see the production that many had seen in Bridges this weekend. There were questions in my mind as his position on the floor. He is erasing many of those questions as he was tremendous off the dribble and finishing at the rim. The left handed forward finished transition dunks fantastically and even did a good job of finding teammates with the pass. He will need to get more consistent beyond the arc for him to play full time on the wing.

Although he lacks a definitive position, he plays both forward spots well enough to to be impactful. Today he hit a spot up 3, defended Terrance Ferguson very well & crashed the glass hard. I think long-term you could classify him as a classic “big small forward.”

Bridges has all the physical tools that it will take to be an impactful player at the next level. He is long, he is athletic, and he has good lift around the rim. Currently he plays the PF spot for this team. I believe that he is a bit undersized for the position and if he does play this position he needs to develop into a stretch 4. However, I haven’t seen the perimeter specialty either that would lead me to believe that he could be a 5 star SF either. Right now he is a tweener forward with a lot of potential. With 2 years of HS ball in front of him, we will see how he develops.
