MANHATTAN, Kansas – The Kansas State Wildcats enter the game as one of the hottest teams in the Big 12. First-year coach Jeff Mittie has the team playing hard and off to a 10-2 start. We’ll have our thoughts from court side at Bramlage Coliseum.

FIRST HALF

 

17:00 – So. Guard Kindred Wesemann with a 3-pointer to kick off the scoring for Kansas State.

3:45 – Haley Tejeda joins in on the offensive action with a corner 3-pointer of her own.

1:14 – Tejada back common college essays at it with another 3-pointer as the Wildcats begin to establish an offensive rhythm.

SECOND HALF

 

18:30 – Jr. Guard Brianna Craig gets on the board with a 3-pointer.

17:50 – Lewis has shown flashes of becoming a post option that this group can trust on the interior. She makes a tough move off of the post feed.

14:20 – Martin hits a free throw. Her energy on both ends will make her a fan favorite for years to come in Bramlage Coliseum.

13:17 – Taking a page out of Lewis’ book, post Jessica Sheble enters the game and makes a nice move over her right essay about writing experience shoulder to score.

11:57 – Both Tejada and Lewis have gotten to the line in the last couple of minutes after making aggressive plays to the rim.

10:45 – Lewis has been on one getting to the line and making plays at the basket.

9:30 – Tejada’s speed in the open floor gives Mittie a nice option at the guard position.

9:10 – A nice post feed from Martin to Lewis gives the home team another basket in the paint.

6:00 – Lewis continues to find ways to get it done inside.
