McCartney showed a world of promise at the March Camp. He is a 6-7 forward that can get it done inside and out. His athleticism and size give him the ability to defend and protect the paint. Yet he has a knack as a passer, which is special for a prospect that stands at 6-7. He still has polish to add to his perimeter skill set, which includes becoming more confident with his weak hand. At the end of the day, McCartney has many of the tools needed in becoming a recruitable athlete.
