Lue is a slashing shooting guard who possesses solid skill. Much like in the previous evaluation, Lue displayed good athleticism and ball skill in this camp setting. His confidence seems to have grown some in the meantime allowing him to make more consistent plays. Getting his release point consistently higher on his jump shot will help him become a scoring threat from the arc.

Lue is a shooting guard with solid athleticism and size for the position. Standing at 6-foot-1 he has the ball handling skill to spotlight at the point guard position as well. At camp he showed good activity moving without the basketball to find scoring opportunities in the lane. He has a lot of potential to become a play creator in the mid-range especially when using the ball screen. Gaining strength and confidence will be important areas of development in upcoming months.
