Ford has gained size to his frame since our last eval. He struggled some in this setting playing mainly off of the ball. We view him as a distributing point guard at the next level.

Ford was terrific today for the Soldiers. He seemed to the primary play-maker vs. the Houston Hoops and De’Aaron Fox. He handled the ball consistently and found ways to create his own shot with the dribble and finished several with the floater. He changes directions on a dime. He seems to get the most out of his physical ability that you can expect.

Ford never gets sped up at the point. If he loses the ball, it’s because the defender has size/strength/speed on him and that’s been rare in our evals to date. He hit a couple of career goal essay tough running floaters in the lane here. That shot will be key for him longterm as his size will be a concern early in his career.

Ford was better here against Team Penny than the eval below. Like Jon said, he can shoot the 3-pointer and is steady at the point. In that way he is similar production wise to teammate Max Hazzard though his style is different. He’s got a slender frame and can use added strength. That said he hit multiple shots including a 17 foot pull up off his right hand dribble while setting the table for a team full of business letter writing services Division One prospects.

Ford just played his role in the game I watched vs. the Alabama Challenge. He has good fundamentals and never seems to get rattled or sped up out of control. He can shoot the open three. He was not a big impact player, but has had games where he has scored double digits on the circuit this year.
