Kyvon Davenport, Team 4 (Gainesville, Ga.), East Hall HS – 2015
Davenport is established as one of the premier frontline forwards in the Metro Atlanta area. His ability to get off the floor quickly allows him to alter shots and finish through defenders as well as any forward that we have had at our Elite Basketball Academy college application essay yourself camps in the 2014 calendar year. Standing at 6-foot-7 he has the length to bring a legitimate interior presence as well. The unsigned senior should become a hot name among college coaches this spring as they try to track down big men who can contribute at the next level.
Grant Hasson, Team 2 (Duluth, Ga.), Heritage Academy – 2016
Standing at 5-11 Hasson has a good stature in the back court. He showed a willingness to be active on both ends of the floor. Although Hasson projects to be a primary ball handler this season for his high school team, he played off of the ball here today. While doing that he moved very well without the ball and created space on the floor for drivers do my assignments who went to the bucket. Adding confidence with his weak hand will help his effectiveness as well.
Marckel McCollum, Team 4 (Duluth, Ga.), Peachtree Ridge HS – 2016
The 6-1 guard has a great frame and good feet for back court player. The first asset that McCollum brings to the court is the ability to guard either guard spot on the defensive end. He showed that he is capable at controlling penetrating point guards while also having the defensive awareness to defend away from the ball. Although he did not demonstrate a particular offensive specialty in this viewing, his skills are solid and he should make an impact in future viewings.
