Shaun Jones (Lawrenceville, Ga.) – Central Gwinnett HS – 2014

We talked about Jones on the site after his play in a region tournament game in mid-February. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard has established himself as a prospect who can score the basketball in transition at the rim or in essays for high school students the half court set from beyond the arc. At EBATop40 Workout, Jones had his full game on display even defending multiple positions as well. His high school coaches, Branden Mayweather and Vince Smith, even came out to watch him shine. Jones picked Valdosta State on the last weekend of April. We fully expect Jones to be a player who impacts the roster early in his career.
