By: @JLHemingwayPSB & @BrandonClayPSB

Location: NBPA Top 100 Camp (Charlottesville, Va.)
Powell followed up his impressive circuit season with an equally productive outing at the NBPA Top 100 Camp where he finished in the top ten in scoring and again led in 3-point field goals made. As we have seen shooting percentages dip at the collegiate level in recent years, Powell’s value should be at max value for college programs. Per Adam Zagoria, Powell recently trimmed his list of schools to eight. Those schools are Georgetown, UConn, Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech, VCU, St. Joe’s, Seton Hall and DePaul.

Even in this elite setting, Powell is a quality option off of the ball. He will take the shot and though he lacks ideal size he was productive.

Powell is a shooter, as it has been documented in previous evaluations. He is not afraid to let it fly. He has an easy release and he can let it go coming off screens. He averaged a team high 18.1 points per game this year on the EYBL circuit. He took the highest number of shots and shot a solid 39% from 3pt range.

Powell is a shooter who can make shots and is a willing option to take shots. He didn’t showcase a consistency off of the bounce.

Powell played the role of a combo guard here today. He has a stocky build and a high release. He took a high volume of shots connecting on only 5-15 today for 13 points.

Powell is a strong, stocky framed guard capable of shooting the 3-pointer and the 17 foot jump shot. He played both on and off the ball here in minutes playing alongside Isaiah Briscoe and Trevon Duval.

Evaluator: Jonathan Hemingway
Location: Nike EYBL (Hampton, Va.)
Powell is a back-up point guard for this team. He is a good role player who will defend his position and hit the open shot. He is not a big play maker off of the dribble, but prefers to spot up and hit the shot off of the reversal pass.
