Stokes is a powerful forward who showed strength on the glass this weekend. He has good hands and good feet, which makes him a legitimate interior force. He is good at finishing around the rim and is a solid post passer. He finished averaging 8 points and 4 rebounds while shooting over 50% from the field this year.
Date: June 14, 2014
Evaluator: Brandon Clay
Location: Nike Elite Top 100 Camp (St. Louis, Mo.)
Stokes is a legitimate option as a face up forward and might be a 5-star guy before it’s all said and done. His brother, Jarnell, played at Tennessee. Isaiah showed here that he can hit the 15 footer, step through to score and showed here that he is a vocal guy on both ends. Add that to his willingness to rebound the ball and Stokes is rounding into a complete threat at the 4 position.
