Beatty played well albeit forcing a number of shots. He scored 20 on 7-17 shooting. He will twilight at the PG position to create plays when his team needs it. He added 4 assists in a loss to Findlay Prep.

Beatty had a solid night scoring 14 points and grabbing 9 rebounds in a win over Simeon. He is a strong driver and showed that he could hit the pull up jumper. The release on his 3pt jumper is a bit flat as he missed both attempts that he took from behind the arc.

Beatty is a slasher off of the bounce based on this eval. The right-hand dominant guard can play either guard spot but appeared more comfortable off of it attacking the lane on the catch. He is a good athlete though not elite in that regard here today. We didn’t see him look for the outside shot much but was consistent in his mechanics at the free throw line finishing 5-12 from the field and 2-3 from the line.

Beatty played the role as a wing forward here today, but long term he is a second handler. He lead the break and finished effectively while also showing he could hit the open jumper.

Beatty is an athletic shooting guard who has a lot of physical tools. He showed that athleticism when he punched a dunk with authority at one point. However, he had moments that shows he still has growth to make such as in a match up with Callaway HS where he had three bad decisions in a row. He scored 8 points and 4 points on back to back nights. So despite the fact that he showed a lot of promise, there is room for growth too.
