Wiley has rebounded nicely from an ACL injury that sidelined him a year ago. He’s a physically strong option on the inside. A legitimate back-to-basket post, Wiley has touch around the rim and at the free throw line.

Wiley is a skilled power forward who showed go-to and counter moves in the post. He was physical with soft touch around the rim. He is not quite 100% from recovering from his knee injury, but he was certainly effective. He did not show range on his jumper and did not have a lot of bounce to finish.

Wiley showed exceptional composure while posting up on the block. He is a willing passer out of of the low block and also good on the weakside of the glass at cleaning up rebounds. Conditioning seemed to be a bit of an issue here this weekend.

Wiley was even better here than he was in June. His size is similar to Caleb Swanigan (IN-15). Wiley showed lift in his leap and rebounded the ball consistently on both ends. He has the skill, footwork to play the power forward position. Wiley runs the floor well but has limited range on his jumper right now.

Wiley is a skilled post who was as productive as any post player I have seen in the class of 2017. Although he is not the athletic specimen that Cody Riley (CA-17) is, he has a grasp on the nuances of the game that Riley may not have. He has great hands and gets very good positioning. He does a good job of altering shots even though he may not have elite bounce at this moment.

Wiley didn’t show the same scoring prowess here that he did in Jon’s eval below. That said he has legitimate size for a young prospect and was productive in other areas though not showcasing a definitive specialty in this evaluation.

Wiley is an elite scorer in the post at a young age. He possesses great footwork to be able to pivot over either shoulder and soft touch to score. He is a productive player and sticks to his specialty. At a young age he is as good of a interior scorer that you will find in the 2017 class.
