There is a lot of chatter on the circuit about what position Durham will play at the next level. Right now, his production at the point speaks volumes: 14.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game in 16 EYBL contests. That said, Durham’s percentages will need to improve to experience maximum success at the next level: 25 from beyond the arc, 32 from the field.

Durham is the primary scorer for this Stampede team. He specializes at slashing to the basket to create scoring opportunities. He did it pretty consistently here today versus the NJ Playaz as he scored 13 points and pulled down 6 rebounds. He stroke looked clean, but his percentages do not reflect that as he only shot 30% from beyond the arc. He finished averaging 12 points a game on the EYBL circuit.

Durham showed his ability to attack the lane here this weekend. He is explosive with his first step. He also showed to be an adequate handler and passer in this camp setting.

Durham is a left handed guard with a lot of talent. He played off of the ball for his team. His jumper release is not pure, which could provide a ceiling for him long term.

Durham played more off of the ball in this eval than on it. He showed himself as a solid secondary slashing option in that regard. His strength will be a point to keep an eye on as it affected his ability to finish around the rim.

Durham is a left handed guard who is young, but showed a lot of promise. He has a lot of the basic skills that you would like to see out of a freshman in a varsity game, especially in a close 2nd half.
