Barcello played his way into the BrandonClayScouting.com ELITE 100 discussion after the first four EYBL stops. He’s averaging 18.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists per. He’s got point guard ball skill but is an efficient scorer as well shooting 85 perfect from the line, 35 from beyond the arc and 45 from the field.

Barcello was solid in this setting showing that he’s a capable jump shooter and ball handler. He wasn’t as impactful as Payton Pritchard (OR-16) was here last year but was able to be effective in this elite eval.

Barcello is a steady handler of the basketball at the point position. However, he complements that skill with the ability to shoot and also be able to create his own shot. He was able to get a 3 off at the end of the shot clock here today versus Putman Vocactional Academy. He has a compact release that points to efficient shooting in the future. He reminds me of the type of PG that could play for UVA or Wisconsin type system. He scored 15 points on 6-16 shooting tonight to go with 5 rebounds and 1 assist.
