Beasley wasn’t as crisp shooting it as he has been in recent memory. He went 5-for-18 in this eval but did go 6-6 from the line finishing with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Beasley is a big time athlete with the ability and confidence to make a play at any moment.

Beasley has come a long way in a year. His skills have polished up and has turned into a go-to scorer even when the stage is the biggest. He hit some clutch pull up jumpers versus Montverde Academy, which nearly lifted them to a victory in the final minutes of the game. He finished with 25 points and 7 rebounds on 8 of 16 shooting, which included 3 of 6 from downtown.

Location: NBPA Top 100 Camp (Charlottesville, Va.)
Beasley is a heck of an athlete and great in transition. He seems to loosen up and play his best basketball when he has space to run. This camp setting really showed where Beasley still has a lot of skill work left to develop. His release on his jumper is inconsistent at best. He showed difficulties in making left handed push passes in shell drill. But when it came game time, he certainly produced.

Beasley has emerged as a top 10-15 scoring guard in the class nationally. He is scoring it at the same type of clip that Prince Ali (FL-15) is. That’s saying a lot as they dueled it out in this eval. Beasley is an elite athlete capable of punishing the rim or hitting the open jumper.

Beasley shots weren’t falling so he showcased his ability to create off the dribble to get to the rim. He was effective driving the baseline and cutting to the basket where Jackson was able to get him the ball for the finish.

Location: The Elite Preview (Norcross, Ga.)
Beasley was a top tier player in the gym full of talent. He struggled to keep Jaylen Brown in front of him at times but scored it well on the other end of the floor. Beasley finished a mean dunk in the open floor on a defender.

Date: March 3, 2014
Evaluator: Jonathan Hemingway
Location: GHSA Final 4 vs. Athens Christian (Kennesaw, Ga.)
Beasley has had a very strong 2nd half to the season for St. Francis and that consistency poured over into this semi-final game. He showed his ability to hit the mid-range jumper very well here tonight & even a hit a 3 vs. Will Jackson & Athens Christian. His opportunities for scoring come more often as he plays opposite of two very good scorers in Kobi Simmons & Kaiser Gates. He is an athlete that should be able to defend his position on the other end as well.

Date: November 16, 2013
Evaluator: Jonathan Hemingway
Location: St. Francis Verizon For a Cure TOC (Alpharetta, Ga.)
Beasley is an athletic wing that could play either wing position. He is a good athlete and has solid skill. His specialty appears to be slashing to the rim to create. He plays a complimentary role for his HS team behind Kobi Simmons (GA-16).
