Daniel Giddens – (Mableton, Ga.), – E1T1 – 2015
Height:6’10”
Position: Power Forward
Committed College: Ohio State
Date: July 17, 2014
Evaluator: Jonathan Hemingway
Location: EYBL Nike Peach Jam (North Augusta, S.C.)
Giddens is an elite finisher around the rim. He is a threat to catch an alley oop anytime he steps out to the perimeter. He blocks shots and defends as well as anyone in the country for the position. His free throw has major mechanical problems.

Location: NBPA Top 100 Camp (Charlottesville, Va.)
This was the most consistent that I have seen Giddens play serving as the headline front court player for E1T1 with Ben Simmons not in the building this weekend. Giddens threw multiple outlet passes to start the fast break off of the defensive rebound. In a lot of ways, he’s a high level rebound/shot block option who can finish on the break.
Date: May 3, 2014
Evaluator: Brandon Clay
Location: Bob Gibbons (Suwanee, Ga.)
Giddens is looking like he’s ready to turn the corner with his play. He’s rebounding and defending at a top five level at his position nationally. Giddens hit a left hand hook at 6 feet, followed that with a smooth right hand on left side finish with classmate Noah Dickerson (GA) draped on his side.

Location: City of Palms (Fort Myers, Fla.)
Giddens is a real sized post. At this point, I see him as more of a center skill wise than a power forward in a one-post system. His ability to run the floor and finish around the rim is intriguing. He got knocked out of this game late in the first half with a possible head injury.
Date: October 5, 2013
Evaluator: Brandon Clay
Location: USA Basketball Developmental Mini-Camp (Colorado Springs, Colo.)
Giddens was solid here on day one. He did not play on the second day due to an injury. He’s not in the same class as Thomas Bryant or Diamond Stone though he has similar tools physically. Giddens is a tweener 4/5 with some touch out to 15 feet. He’ll have to develop consistency in his play. He has the frame to be a top 10 caliber prospect nationally.
