Jeter’s performance against Ben Simmons in this camp really solidified my opinion that he could be one of the top 5 posts in the country. He scored as well as anyone in the camp with his back to the basket and rebounded the ball very well too. What separates Jeter is the variety in his game. He hit the I-cut jumper while also showing a jump hook from 8 feet away. There are betting athletes in the class who can impose their will with strength, but few produce with the skill of Jeter.

In a match-up versus Johnnie Vasser’s JSerra Catholic team, the 6-foot-10 post player was the difference in getting the win for his team. He impressively put up a double-double by scoring 19 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. He did this all while playing both facing up and with his back to the basket. The tag-team duo of Jeter and seven footer post Stephen Zimmerman is an impossible challenge for most frontlines. Both posts are skilled and score the ball anywhere from two feet all the way to the arc. Jeter did a particularly good job of establishing position, keeping his balance and scoring on the block last weekend. It is easy to see why programs from coast to coast are actively recruiting this skilled big man.

Jeter has a good build but right now that build seems more suited for the power forward position. He will attack off of the catch at 15 feet. He runs the floor both consistently and well.
