Nicholas Edwards, Team 6, (Lawrenceville, Ga.), Grayson HS – 2018
One of the advantages of a camp setting for our evaluators is the chance to see young players early in their growth. Edwards is one of those players who is clearly just beginning his journey as a ball player. While it is clear he still has physical maturation to attain in years to come, he demonstrated fundamental skills that are years ahead of his peers. His footwork and IQ should be assets that he will want to grow in the future. He also has good quickness that should allow him to be an effective two-way player.
Jack Howard, Team 2, (Dahlonega, Ga.), Lumpkin County – 2016
Howard demonstrated himself as one of the better shooters at the camp. At 6-foot-3 he has very good size for his position. His ability to stretch the defense should be a resource for his high school team regardless if he sees a zone or man defense. In this setting we did not see him impact on the defensive end. That will be an area of growth for the junior as he looks to make strides as a prospect.
Nicholas Tolbert, Team 1, (Stone Mountain, Ga.), Hapeville Charter – 2015
Tolbert was one of the top senior guards at the camp. The left hander scored the ball and made plays consistently. He brought a great energy to the floor and hustled up and down the court. He specializes in slashing to the basket and scoring off of the move. At 6-2 he has the size to make an impact on the wing.
