NORCROSS, Ga. – Norcross High School has been a staple of the basketball community since Eddie Martin took the program over during the early 2000’s. Back then the names were Jason Croly and Archie Miaway. Along the way, the names turned into future pros in Al-Farouq Aminu, Gani Lawal and Jodie Meeks. Winning has been one constant throughout the decade long run. Another has been coach Jesse McMillan. Andre Chatfield (Norcross, Ga.) – Norcross HS – 2014
A Harvard signee, Chatfield has legitimate height at the off guard spot standing at 6-foot-4. In match ups with elite level athletes, Chatfield is at his best when he is able to stretch the defense with his jump shot. He is what he is – a quality spot shooter capable of making shots a couple of steps beyond the 3-point line when he has his feet set. That said Chatfield still has to show the improvement in his ball skill that made Brogdon a Top 100 caliber recruit in his class.
AJ Farrar (Norcross, Ga.) – Norcross HS – 2014
Farrar has had some quality games this season for one of the state’s top teams. Standing at 6-3, he has length and size similar to HS teammate Tim Cameron. He showed here that he can score a basket when needed and also get it done on the defensive end of the floor as well.
