The Douglasville Lady Tigers consistently bring talent and competitiveness to the tourney atmosphere. For years Coach Tonya Jackson’s teams have made deep runs in bracket play while also developing college prospects at the same time. One of the more notable prospects from the Douglasville program is Christen Mercer who was a freshman at the University of Florida this past year.

The Lady Tigers have a program that is filled with quality prospects once again this summer. Maya Benham of Douglasville, Ga. is a four star prospect and is the focal point of this year’s team. The 5–foot–11 forward is an ELITE100 Watch List player for the 2015 class. Her combination of size, athleticism and skill have earned offers from several NCAA Tournament caliber teams. Alongside of Benham is 5-11 wing Yaktavia Hickson of Stone Mountain, Ga. The two-star guard is versatile in the sense that she can handle the ball as a primary handler or spot up as complementary shooter.
