King is a talented sum of all parts prospect. Right now, he doesn’t showcase an elite specialty but does a lot of things well. He has gained weight and is filling out. He attacked the lane off of the bounce as well as I’ve seen him in this setting. He also hit a 3-pointer off of the bounce here too.

King is a quality secondary scoring option on the perimeter to DJ Harvey. He was able to be effective on both ends of the floor is this role. King has real size to play either wing position and is a solid defender.

King delivered a performance that matched his talent in this match-up versus Chaminade and Jayson Tatum (MO-16). He finished the cheap custom writing papers game with 38 points on 12 of 19 shooting with 5 rebounds. He is best with space to fly down the court and finish in transition. He also showed the full complement of skills that we had seen glimpses of in the past. He scored on the block, hit 2 out of 5 threes and hit a mid-range jumper off of a shot fake.

King hasn’t progressed in his consistency the same way that I would have predicted a year ago. That said, he has great size at the position and the length to make himself a viable option on the defensive end of the floor. He struggled here today going 2-for-13 from the field with one assist and two turnovers.

King is a wing with great size and the ability to attack the lane. Jaylen Brown (GA-15) really bothered him today in this match-up with Wheeler. He was not able to make the plays he wanted to down the stretch of this close game. He finished with a stat line of 12 points on 6 of 14 shooting and 8 rebounds.

VJ had a tough weekend and we will get to see if this is a blip on the radar or if it will become a pattern when Brandon Clay watches him in Minnesota next weekend. He did not score in double digits in any of his games at Boo Williams & was 0-8 from the field against the document editing service Jackson Tigers when I watched him. He did show good explosiveness off of the dribble & the ability to defend. However, when it came to play-making on this day, Luke Kennard (Duke commit) and AJ Harris (Ohio State commit) were the ones who made the plays.

King is a right handed shooter with good promise. He’s smooth on the floor and served as a solid secondary ball handler during the press breakdown segments. He’s long and lean with wide shoulders. The base on his jump shot is a bit narrow and King has a tendency to fade from beyond the FIBA 3-point line. That said, he’s a big time off guard.
