BrandonClayTV Video Evaluation:

Date: September 20, 2020
Location: ProspectsNation National Showcase (Iowa)
Evaluator: Brandon Clay

Meulemans game has shown marked improvement even since our June evaluation. She’s standing right at a legit 6-feet making her a big guard capable of making the slot or corner 3. In a demo against a 1-3-1, the point guard made a ball fake away to come back to Meulemans in the corner who calmly sank the open 3-pointer in front of the whole Academy. As her frame keeps filling out, expect Meulemans to become even more assertive attacking the rim than she has already become.

Meulemans has shown both physical and skill set growth since our evaluation in June. She’s got the length on the perimeter to make positive plays on both ends of the hardwood. Her willingness to come in early and get extra work in is a testament to what our staff sees in her game long term. Meulemans is a threat putting the ball on the deck and shooting the outside shot. She’s really worked on her inside foot pivot footwork off the move.

Player Evaluations:

Meulemans fits right in on a team with a Wisconsin Flight Elite backcourt full of high level Division One prospects. The now 6-foot guard defends, makes shots and has developed right on schedule with our initial evaluations over three years ago. Most importantly, Meulemans is a player who will be a star both on and off the floor in the classroom too. She flew into Alabama after midnight on Friday morning fresh off of a First Team All-Conference Cross Country finish the day before.

Meulemans has become one of my favorite prospects to track in the nation. She’s always showing a new piece to her game in each eval. This time it was her willingness to catch and shoot. I was watching her game, saw Kamy Peppler kick it to the corner and knew it was a 3-pointer on the way from Meulemans as a result. She’s a potential Elite 150 caliber prospect nationally at this rate.

Jordan Meulemans of De Pere, Wisc., is one of the state’s fastest rising prospects. She is capable of making plays in the open floor or the half court. Her length makes her a tough matchup on either end of the hardwood.
