Obiagu was on the rise to the elite of the class nationally before the EYBL season got started. He’s struggled a bit to find a rhythm statistically avraging 1.5 points, 3.7 rebounds per in 11 EYBL games. That said, he is a specialist in changing / altering shots.

Obiagu put up one of the most impressive performances of the entire tournament. He swatted shots out of the air consistently in every game. What makes him a special shot blocker is the fact that he combines length, athleticism and timing better than I have seen any 7-footer in the past two years. He showed flashes of offensive skill as he hit a jump hook and some put backs in the lane. He is still a year away from being a dominant paint scorer.

Obiagu mixes high major length with above average skill to be a serious factor on either end of the floor. He moves well in straight lines, but he does have room for improvement in terms of agility and fluidity. Impressively, however, he showed that he could contest shots on the arc as well as at the rim. He boomed a nice post feed with his back to the basket at one point. However, he does struggle still with making decisive decisions.

Obiagu is as big as Daniel Gibbons (GA-15) is framewise. He was dominant on the inside in this eval finishing everything around the rim.
