Strengths

Van Bourgondien brings a lot of quality attributes to the table. Perhaps the biggest is that she is a consistent shooter. She has good scholarships for college students with no essays size for the wing position and a skill set that allows her plays both wing positions and some at the power forward spot to create matchup problems as well. Her ability to rebound the basketball from the wing gives coaches another player to crash the glass. It’s not possible to talk about Van Bourgondien without mentioning her academic standing in the classroom. She’s a National Honor Society member with an ACT score of 30 already.

Areas To Improve

This day in age, offenses run so many stagger or double screens as set calls that she could really benefit from having the skill to make those shots in key situations – baseline or side out of bounds, under 10 seconds in the shot clock and/or late game opportunities.

The Bottom Line

The 5-foot-10 forward gets it done on and off the floor. Her size and versatility coupled with her academic standing make her a unique prospect. There are skill set attributes that online personal statement writing service translate at any level.
