The New Jersey Sparks have quickly become a staple team during the summer exposure season. Coach Keith Gilchrist has built a solid program with teams that begin training players as young as ten years old. That development pays off as he has one of the elite travel teams in the nation this year. Gilchrist can point to a past star in Teana Muldrow of East Orange, N.J., as a player that helped put his program on the map. The 6-foot-1 forward signed with West Virginia last fall and is poised for a solid college career.

This year the New Jersey Sparks are centered around the No. 13 ranked player in the ELITE 100 in Myisha Hines-Allen. The 6-1 combo forward carries a game with multiple dimensions on the court. At the Battle of the Boro, in Franklin, Tenn. Hines-Allen earned All-Tournament honors with an exceptional performance. With her ability to score the ball in traffic, she has put her name in the forefront of All-American candidates nationwide.

Around Hines-Allen are a number of talented players who make plays in the own right. Imani Tilford of White Plains, N.Y., is an ELITE 100 point guard who is the engine i have this reaserch paper and i need help. for Coach Gilchrist’s team. The quick, dynamic guard helps set the table for all who are around her. Aushanae Durant of Newark, N.J., is another talented teammate alongside of Hines-Allen on the frontline. The four-star prospect is a defensive menace and a match-up problem on the offensive end. Adding to the depth for the Sparks is Katherine Haines of Ridgefield Park, N.J., who is a 6-2 face-up forward. She provides the shot making ability that is a nice balance to an athletic lineup.

ProspectsNation.com evaluator Brandon Clay says that “The New Jersey Sparks are poised for a huge second half of July. I am excited for the possible match-up of Myisha Hines-Allen versus Kelsey Mitchell at the Summer Invitational. These are the type of match-ups that elevate players above even the elite status and into the realm help starting an essay of legendary. We will get to see firsthand who will come out on top at All Tournament Players Park in Marietta, Ga.” Be sure to log in to ProspectsNation.com for the live broadcasts featuring the New Jersey Sparks during the Summer Invitational.
