The state of North Carolina is historically rich in basketball history and packed with talent. The Lady Phoenix, headed by Coach Delaney Rudd, have been able to organize some of that talent into his program in years past.

Rudd has been instrumental in not only growing the talent from within the Lady Phoenix organization, but also leads the girls basketball program at New Hope Academy in Thomasville, N.C. His leadership combined with a pair of top 100 prospects in the class of 2014 put the Lady Phoenix in the discussion of the top travel teams in the summer of 2013.

Paris Kea of Greensboro, N.C., has taken the summer circuit by storm this i do my homework in english July. The 5-foot–9 point guard dominated the competition at the Real Deal in the ATL a few weeks ago. Her ability to score coupled with her eye catching passes made her the headline player in that tournament. Her teammate Kristina King of Thomasville, N.C., played her role well alongside of Kea in Marietta. The 6-3 power forward has a unique skill set that allows her to score over defenders in the paint, while also being able face the basket. Her perimeter skills stretch the defense to the arc, which makes her a help on writing a dbq essay dual threat in the half-court. This inside–outside duo will be dangerous combo in the second half of July.
