1) On this night, seniors led the way.

On a night dedicated to their contributions to the Clemson program, it came as no surprise that Nikki Dixon and Chelsea Lindsay gave the Tigers a chance to be in the ball game late. Dixon moved into fifth place all time on the school’s scoring list with her 15-point night. She also added seven rebounds in 38 minutes of play. Lindsay had a productive night of her own with seven points, five rebounds in 36 minutes can you do my assigment in her final game on the Littlejohn Coliseum floor.

2) Shelbie Davenport is coming into her own.

A freshman forward, Shelbie Davenport showed her versatility with a 10-point, eight rebound performance. She only needed seven shots attempts to do it and chipped in four assists during her 30 minutes of playing time. Since her time playing for former Riverdale HS coach John Wild, Davenport has grown her overall game. In the process, she’s become much more than just a standstill shooter. In this matchup, she even spent time in the paint defending Syracuse center Briana Day. Look for Davenport to be a key for this Tigers program going forward.

3) The Tigers are in good shape with underclassmen.

After ushering in eight freshman and a junior college transfer in the offseason, there is no shortage of youth on the roster. Those players combined to play all but 11 minutes that weren’t assigned to Dixon and Lindsay. Oustide of Davenport, Tiffany Lewis, Cha’Nelle Perry and Francesca Tagliapietra garnered most of the minutes. Lewis and Perry are no custom essay writing service prof essays strangers to our staff as they played their club ball for #PSBFamily members, Georgia Hoopstars and Philly Freedom Stars. Those two combined to play 45 minutes on the night. Tagliapietra, who is from Italy, had a big night finishing with 12 points, two steals on 5-for-6 from the field in 18 minutes of action.

4) Commitment to success is university wide.

Senior night usually means the final night of the home floor for just those leaving the team. In this case, it was the final night on the Littlejohn Coliseum floor for everyone involved. The inside of arena will be torn apart and will undergo a full renovation over the next 18 months. The women’s team will play on campus across the street at the Jervey Gym during the 2015-16 season with the new arena completed in time for 2016-17 play. Clemson’s Director of Athletics, Dan Radakovich, was on hand for the evening’s festivities and talked on the ESPN3 broadcast about the plans the university has for making women’s basketball one of the premier programs in the ACC.

5) It’s college application essay quotes all about the players.

After spending nine years together at UAB, Coach Smith and Coach Oliver in particular understand that the biggest challenge is continuing to add talented players who fit their style of play. They have signed two class of 2015 ELITE 150 prospects in Danielle Edwards of Perry Hall, Md., and Taylor Brown of Paterson, N.J. In additional they are still in the mix for at least one ELITE 150 caliber prospect in the senior class. Looking ahead, they have had numerous prospects on campus in the 2016, 2017 and 2018 classes as well.
