MANHATTAN, Kansas – Through a combination of injuries and youth, the Kansas State Wildcats have had an up and down season to this point. Coach Deb Patterson‘s team regrouped last week to defeat Big 12 foe Texas Tech. The Wildcats are back at it to face No. 13 Iowa State. We’ll have our thoughts from the game tonight.

FIRST HALF

20:00 – The Wildcats have to have 7,000 people in here for “Pack The House” night. Great atmosphere in Bramlage Coliseum.

18:20 – Fr. Post Breanna Lewis gets involved with a nice finish at the rim.

17:00 – Fr. Guard Leticia Romero was the ProspectsNation No. 1 ranked incoming International prospect for a reason. She hits a smooth 3-pointer to tie this game up at 5.

16:14 – Romero right back with a 15 footer. She’s smooootttthhh! 7 to 5 KState.

13:50 – And another one…Romero from downtown. That’s 10 to literary analysis essay thesis statement 5 Kansas State early.

13:10 – Lewis on the board again through offensive rebounding making it 12 to 5.

12:38 – Sr. Forward Kayta Leick adds another 3-pointer to the tally. 15 to 5.

7:45 – The Wildcats suffered through a little dry spell but Sr. Forward Chantay Caron breaks them out of it with a nice move in the lane. 17 to 11 KState.

6:40 – Jr. Guard Ashia Woods with a solid drive and finish at the basket for 2 to make it 19 to 11.

5:58 – Romero with another 3-pointer. She has 11, Iowa State has 11.

4:10 – Romero with a nice kick out off of dribble penetration for a Leick 3-pointer. KState is rolling on offense once again. 25 to 13.

2:30 – Leick hits another jump shot and it’s 27 to 14 in favor of the home team.

1:10 – So. Guard Bri Craig with a 3 pointer from the corner to make it 30 to 19.

HALFTIME SCORE: Kansas State 30-22

19:04 – Iowa State’s Jadda Buckley made a nice move on Romero to score. What does Romero do? Come down the floor and find Lewis on a pick and roll. It’s 32 to 24.

18:27 – If ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Romero to Lewis off the pick and roll again. 34 to 25.

16:05 – After making a free throw on the last trip, Romero gets all the way to the rim to finish giving her 14 on the night and KState a 37 to 28 lead.

14:15 – Leick has been big tonight as she makes another 3-pointer out of the corner. 40 to 31.

13:11 – Woods with a nice drive to the rim making it 42-31.

12:05 – Craig again out of the corner with a 3-pointer. Before I can save it, she gets the ball back in transition and finds Romero for a short jumper. 47 to 34 for Iowa State leading to a Cyclone timeout.

10:15 – Craig with two free throws to stretch the lead to fast essay writing service 49 to 38.

9:44 – Romero with two free throws of her own giving her 18 on the night. 51 to 40 KState.

9:17 – Romero has been involved in seemingly every play this half. She finds Caron for the finish. 53 to 40.

8:30 – Leick with another 3-pointer. She’s been “Bombs Away” all evening. 56 to 42.

7:27 – It’s Leick again to make it 58 to 43.

7:00 – Romero’s breakaway left-handed finish gives the Wildcats a 60 to 45 advantage.

6:25 – Romero is going bananas as she scores her 22nd point of the night to up the lead to 62 to 45.

4:36 – Fr. Guard Kindred Wesemann with two free throws to get on the board. It’s 64 to 49 KState.

3:28 – Craig again with the finish off of a nice feed from Woods. The score is 67 to 51 Wildcats.

2:06 – Talking to former Big 12 assistant coach Katie Hensle during the last media timeout. Told her that State needed another score or two to ice this extended essay ib checklist one. On cue, Romero gets fouled and makes two free throws. She’s been CLUTCH tonight. 69 to 58 Kansas State.

1:25 – Kansas State has split two straight trips to the free throw line. Not this time. Leick steps to the lane and makes a pair to send the home team up 73-63.

1:03 – Leick is back at it with two more. The Wildcats are trying to finish this off at the line up 75-66.

:38 – Iowa State will not go away quietly. Leick makes it 77-74.

:29 – Romero makes two more free throws and it’s 79 to 74. Romero with a cool 27 on the night.

:21 – Craig makes one free throw to end it.

FINAL SCORE: Kansas State 80-74
