As of today, Karen Aston, who is in her first year at Texas, is 2-0. This past week Aston and her staff were able to experience their first on court successes beating St. Johns and Hofstra in regular season games.

Off the floor, the former North Texas and UNC Charlotte General has hit the ground running from the moment she landed in Austin. In her time at Texas, Aston has signed or secured a verbal commitment from 10 players, three on the current roster –freshman Celina Rodrigo, and junior college transfers Ashley Roberts and Gigi Mazionyte — four in the help with ptcas essay class of 2013 — Nekia Jones of Beaumont, Texas, Kelsey Lang of The Woodlands, Texas, and Lilley VanderZee of Granbury, Texas — In addition to three class of 2015 verbal commitments — Alyssa Dry of Fort Worth, Texas, Jordan Hosey of Houston, Texas, and LaShawn Higgs of Austin, Texas.

Now Aston has her first class of 2014 verbal commitment and her 11th addition since she arrived at the Big 12 school, as Brooke McCarty of Houston, Texas, is now officially a Longhorn.

There are a handful of prospects in the prep ranks that have the ability to put people in seats while simultaneously taking them out of their seat. This summer McCarty live homework help chat was a member of that elite group. Whether it’s prep basketball or the summer circuit, McCarty has developed a cult like following. People make efforts to come back to gyms to see her and the rest of her teammates in action, just to see what the 5-foot-4 point guard will do next.

McCarty’s ability to have maestro-like control of the game is something to witness in person. She is able to set the table for teammates and simply make the game easy for those around her. When she needs to score, she can, but McCarty seems perfectly content making plays for others and running the team.   This is a sign of her character, and it human evolution research paper is echoed by the praise that everyone who has coached and been around her throughout her prep career has thrown her way. By all accounts the class of 2014 point guard is as good a person as she is a basketball player.

Those who follow recruiting have an appreciation for the immense talent that has come out of the Lone Star state in the past couple of years. With McCarty deciding to stay in-state and play at Texas, she not only gives Aston and her staff their point guard of the future, but she joins seven other prep prospects in the State of Texas that have all pledged to play their college basketball in Austin.

When i need someone to do a research for me Baylor won the national championship last year and Texas A&M the year before that, both teams were comprised of rosters with a majority of prep prospects from the State of Texas. It now looks like the Longhorns are putting together pieces for a title run or two of their own. The addition of McCarty will certainly put them in the a step closer.
