Brown is huge on the interior. He battled against Thon Maker (CAN-16) inside. Brown has a unique combination of great feet and size plus the ability to finish at the glass.

Brown put in an efficient 11 point, 11 rebound game versus Kevarrius Hayes (FL-15 UF signee). He did it on 5 of 8 shooting. From a skill set point of view, he is still a bit awkward in his movements and finishes. He plays a bit too upright right now, but does a good job of keeping the ball high. He is good at getting position to rebound and to set up for the lob. He is all legs and arms right now. His free throw will need to improve as well. As he matures, he should round out nicely.

Brown is a legitimate force on the inside standing right at 6-foot-11. His skill set for a rising sophomore was both impressive and consistent. He hit a tough left-handed half hook at 10 feet and showed touch from the free throw line as well. We didn’t see him showcase that he is able to use his right hand to finish in the same way in this setting. There weren’t a handful here of post players who could force Brown to go away from his left hand. He showed himself to be both a shot changer and blocker on the defensive end as well. A five-star center, Brown is a guy that every major program in the country should have on their big board in this class.
