Lane showed improved production here this weekend. His size, strength and athleticism allowed him to attack the glass with fervor that was unmatched in his age group. He hit multiple jumpers from the perimeter while also getting the rim through traffic. As Lane improves his feel for the game, he should turn into an immediate contributor for coach Branden Mayweather next year at Central Gwinnett.

Lane is a left-handed wing with a very high ceiling. He displayed raw skill and athleticism that can be easily molded into a productive wing in future years. He has a high release on his jumper, which points to hope that he will be a solid outside shooter. This puts him ahead of the curve in terms of other athletic prospects at his age. We will watch Lane’s development closely in future evaluations.
