Walker proved to be one of the most experienced and polished prospects at the camp. His combination of size, skill and poise make him a versatile threat. His jumper has smoothed out nicely in recent months. He is showing that he can hit the long range jumper with consistency with his feet set. His ball skill is solid enough for him to face the basket full-time. Yet his high energy work ethic still allows to produce with second chance opportunities. He is set for a big spring with the Tampa Titans. Look for him to visit a number of college campuses this summer.

Consistency is the word that comes to mind when talking about Walker. The junior gives consistent effort, consistent production and consistent leadership. He rarely gets stuck in a spot where he is trying to do too much or playing out of position. He embraces the role of a rebounder and interior scorer when needed. However, he showed more than adequate perimeter skill this weekend. The range on his jumper is solid out to the arc. He even impressed our staff with his ability to pass and find cutting teammates when facing the basket. His willingness to put in extra work after the camp is proof that has not hit his ceiling either. His challenge will be to find ways to maximize his athleticism and agility in the next 12 months.

Walker is a wing forward who embraced the role of finishing on the interior this weekend. Standing at 6-3 his future will be playing facing the basket in upcoming years. However, it is not be understated how effective Walker was at gaining position in the lane finishing in traffic. Matching his paint presence on the offensive end was his ability to hit the spot up jumper. Walker is a multi-tooled player who can use his versatility to impact the game in a number of ways. Becoming more fluid with his ball handling and developing a more consistent arc on his shot will be areas of focus for Walker in future skill sessions.
