Honor asserted himself as one of the better 2018 guards in the building this weekend. He brought energy, leadership and shot making to the camp games. His ability to get defenders back on their heals and then hit jumpers with the space created makes him an effective lead guard that can score.

Honor is a strong-framed option at the position. What he lacks in height, he gets back in efficiency and production. A right-handed shooter, Honor can let it fly. In 16 EYBL games, he is averaging 11 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists. More importantly, Honor is shooting 91 percent from the line, 36 percent from beyond the arc and 48 percent from the field. He’s a true floor general rarely over dribbling or missing the open man. He made a beautiful alley oop to Kevin Knox.

Honor can score the ball and distribute it as well. He’s got a solid, bumper car type of frame at the position. His ability to hit the open jumper or turn the corner on the pick and roll stood out during a matchup against Renaldo Segu. On the other end, Honor was able to keep Segu in front of him.

Honor is a point guard who can put points up in a hurry. He shoots the ball with confidence and accuracy. He showed intensity on the defensive end as well. The long-term concern with Honor will be his size. The next 12-18 months will be key to see how Honor can transition his game to higher levels.
