Date: January 18, 2016
Evaluator: Jonathan Hemingway
Location: Hoop Hall Classic (Springfield, Mass.)

Richards has all the skills to be a high producer at the next level. He plays a lot facing the basket, but also does a good job of running in transition. He did a good job of contesting shots in the paint. He finished with 9 points and 8 rebounds. He seems to all the tools, but does not affect the game consistently at this moment.

Evaluator: Jonathan Hemingway
Location: NBPA Top 100 Camp (Charlottesville, Va.)

Richards is a post who has a great frame and projects as a solid hi-lo option. He will rebound in his area, but he struggled to finish in traffic and through contact.

Evaluator: Brandon Clay
Location: NBPA Top 100 Camp (Charlottesville, Va.)

Richards showed that he can compete with some of the stronger post players like Zach Brown and Udoka Azubuike. He would be a nice compliment given his style / build to either one of those two in the middle. Richards displayed a soft touch around the rim.

Location: Nike EYBL (Minneapolis, Minn.)

Richards played limited minutes in this eval after injuring his hamstring. Before going out, Richards showed a nice combination of size and physical ability.

Location: Nike Elite 100 Camp (St. Louis, Mo.)

Richards has a build and a style of play similar to Ivan Rabb (CA-15). He made a nice read on the interior with an in and out kick off of the wing double down. Richards isn’t a primary scorer based on this eval but he has all of the tools to be a top flight forward.
