BrandonClayScouting.com Player Evaluations

Date: May 28, 2016
Evaluator: Jonathan Hemingway
Location: Nike EYBL Session IV (Suwanee, Ga.)

Walker plays on the wing and showed exceptional scoring abilities. He was able to hit the reversal three while also slashing to the bucket to finish. His size, skill and body control made him one of the best scorers in the league this year. He finished averaging 16 points a game while shooting 45% from the field. His numbers were consistent with what he did last year, which is a good indicator of future success.

Walker is a wing, who I believe will best suited suited as a two-guard long term. He hit jumpers today after setting screens for cutters. He hit jumpers in transition while handling effectively in traffic. His 13.4 points per game while shooting 40% from 3pt range should rank him as one of the better 2017 guards nationally in the class.

Walker is a slashing specialist from the wing. He defended classmate Jordan Tucker well and made it tough for Tucker.
