BrandonClayScouting.com Player Evaluations

Date: October 5, 2015
Evaluator: Brandon Clay
Location: USA Mini-Camp (Colorado Springs, Colo.)

Nowell is a good athlete though he struggled some here to make plays in the half court. He is more of a catch and shoot option than a creator based off of my 2015 evals. He’s one to keep an eye on the next 6 months. Can he make that jump into the elite guards nationally?

Date: May 28, 2015
Evaluator: Brandon Clay
Location: USA U16 Trials (Colorado Springs, Colo.)

Nowell came out early showing himself to be a wing option who can make an open shot with his feet set. He was a little hesitant to pull the open shot off of the post feed and kickout. That’s a shot can separate Nowell from other off guards in the class.
