Jorden’s potential is through the roof. He has natural ability and athleticism that he is just beginning to realize that he has. What is most important about DJ is that he is not content to keep the scouting report on him as potential. Instead, he is actively working to develop his talent. He stayed after camp on Saturday evening to get up more shots and build his skill set. The left-handed forward translates immediately to the next level as a great run-and-jump defender that can play 94 feet. At the same time he can defend the arc or rebound in the paint. On the offensive end, it will be important for Jorden gain consistency with his jumper. This will help keep defenders honest.

Of all the prospects at the All-American Camp in September, Jorden showed to be a player with one of the highest ceilings. A lanky build and standing at 6-foot-5, Jorden has the ability to play multiple positions on the floor. He proved he can defend the arc as well  as face up on the perimeter at times on the offensive end. Jorden is most effective when he can finish around the rim, either on the post up on in transition. His long arms and quick hops give him an advantage over players at his same position. The challenge for Jorden heading  into his junior year will be to stay in the gym and round out his ball skill as much as possible.
