BrandonClayScouting.com Player Evaluations

Date: May 29, 2016
Evaluator: Brandon Clay
Location: Nike EYBL Session IV (Suwanee, Ga.)

Sexton’s rise to the elite of the 2017 class has been nothing short of remarkable. He scores with the best in high school basketball today. Sitting at 31.7 points per EYBL game, he’s leading the league by almost 10 points per an outing. He’s also rebounding from his position snagging 5.6 rebounds per as well. Sexton reminds me of James Harden in his ability to get fouled and get to the free throw line as a result. Once he’s there, Sexton is shooting 85 percent.

Date: May 3, 2015
Evaluator: Jonathan Hemingway
Location: Bob Gibbons Invitational (Suwanee, Ga.)

Sexton took his game to another level this weekend. He was the most impactful 2017 guard in the gym at Gibbons. He scored the ball with the jumper and off of the bounce. He brings great energy for his team and could become one of the most dynamic play makers in the city.

Date: September 20, 2014
Evaluator: Jonathan Hemingway
Location: OTR Fall Showcase (Duluth, Ga.)

Sexton showed his talent again in this camp setting. He slashed to the lane and even showed more athleticism than in the previous evaluation. He elevated quickly to finish.

Date: November 26, 2013
Evaluator: Jonathan Hemingway
Location: OTR Thanksgiving Showcase (Atlanta, Ga.)

Sexton is a young point guard who did a great job of handling the ball with poise today vs. Aaron Augustine (GA-16) of Peachtree Ridge HS. He is a prospect of promise.
