Brown is a ‘0’ guard who aggressively attacks the lane. He creates plays, much like we have described below. His 3pt release continues to be an area where he will need to improve.

Brown played the point guard position. He went at Jaylen Fisher (TN-16) in this eval battling each other. Brown didn’t get downhill off of the bounce much here but he got teammates involved while making shots.

Brown ran the PG here today. He was effective running the break and finding open teammates. He averaged 16 points for the season, but a concerning stat is his 3pt % which is below 30% and he only took 28 on the season. He is a gifted athlete, but his jumper will need to add consistency.

Brown is a strong, solid option at the off guard position. He is a scorer first and foremost but showed in this eval that he is capable of making plays from the point guard spot as well. Brown is BABC’s go-to perimeter threat and thrived in that role during this event.

Brown is an explosive wing who can finish with authority around the rim. He can get downhill with a quickness and will rise up on anyone he faces. We still have not seen a jumper from him in this evaluation. He scored 23 points on 9 of 11 shooting, which all came from within the arc or at the free throw line.

Brown is a wing that I think is athletic enough to guard a few different perimeter spots on the floor. Today he attacked the rim aggressively like we have seen before in the past. However, he also was a willing facilitator of the offense too. He is not a “black hole” on offense that will only look to attack.

Evaluator: Brandon Clay
Location: Nike Elite 100 Camp (St. Louis, Mo.)

Brown is a strong guard who played almost exclusively off of the ball with the overwhelming number of point guards in the gym. Bowen’s explosiveness made him a player to watch throughout the camp.

Brown is a point guard who can play a little on & off the ball. His size allows him to finish effectively in traffic vs. contact.
