Ishmael Hicks W9 100Ishmael Hicks #W9 (Olive Branch, Miss.), DeSoto Central HS –
2017

Hicks is a slippery guard who can get downhill with the ball. The 5-foot-8 ball handler showed great crossover moves to keep defenders off  balance. His first step and electrifying ball handling moves had him scoring buckets in the lane all camp long. Hicks’ jumper is solid, but that is an area where he can add consistency.

Jalen Hillary W14 100Jalen Hillary #W14 (Lawrenceville, Ga.), Central Gwinnett HS – 2017

We have charted Hillary’s progression as a prospect for nearly a year now as we first evaluated him at our EBA All-American Camp last October. Hillary has bulked up, but has kept his nimble footwork to finish around the basket. His ability to run the floor, hit the spot jumper and affect the game with his long arms should keep him as a contributor for the Black Knights at Central Gwinnett this year.

Jamvis Ponder G17 100Jamvis Ponder #G17 (Palmetto, Ga.), Northgate HS – 2017

Ponder is a very good athlete who can score the ball well off the move. He showed his ability to finish effectively in transition and off of the drive in the half court. His jumper is solid, but increased reps and polish in that area could be added. Standing at 6-3 he has very good size for his position and that helps to project a productive junior year this upcoming season.
