Josh Daniels 100Josh Daniels#W4 (Stockbridge) Woodland HS – 2016

One of the better new names that emerged from the camp was 6-foot-1 point guard Josh Daniels. The left handed point guard showed  plenty of flash with the ball to create versus defenders on the court. While his best attributes are creating plays with the bounce, he showed the ability to hit the open jumper as well. The one area that Josh will need to focus on heading into his senior year is developing consistency. Minimizing mistakes on both ends of the floor will be critical for maximizing his potential this year.G

Trae Higgonbotham 100Trae Higginbotham #W5 (Snellville, Ga.), Brookwood HS – 2017

The senior guard had a solid showing at the Super 64 Camp at the beginning of this month. He showed the ability to play both a lead ball handling position while also working away from the ball as a shooting guard. The strength of his game centers around creating plays off of the dribble. His game is very strong in transition, but he can also create space in the half court. His mid-range jumper is particularly strong, because he has the ability to elevate over defender’s out-stretched hands. If there is an area of Higgonbotham’s game that could grow is his spot up jumper. He struggles to gain the same elevation on his shot from beyond the arc as he does in the lane.

Ty Pendley 100Ty Pendley #W2 (Dalton, Ga.), Southwest Whitfield HS –  2016

Pendley proved once again that he is as steady as the come from the guard position. The 6-foot combo guard calmly knocked down jumpers in game play while also providing ball handling responsibilities. His ability to slide through defenders with the bounce should not be overlooked as one of his better qualities as a prospect. Pendley continues to prove that he can make plays on the offensive while also being a solid position defender.
