Luke Kennard – (Franklin, Ohio), – King James Shooting Stars – 2015
Height: 6’5″
Position:  Shooting Guard
Committed College: Duke

Date: October 3, 2014
Evaluator: Brandon Clay
Location: USA Basketball Mini-Camp (Colorado Springs, Colo.)
Kennard is a smooth shooting option on the wing. The left-handed perimeter threat even stayed after the evening session on Saturday to get extra work in. He was poised, took quality shots and handled the ball well in the half court as well.

I came away very impressed editorial services uk with Kennard’s floor game. He seemed very comfortable and displayed leadership at various times within the camp. He is an exceptional shooter, however what makes him very effective is his footowork. He can create a great amount of space with him hop-back moves which he makes at angles. He makes good passes and brings a great amount of energy to the floor.

Kennard is a left handed guard who is a shooting specialist. He has a more diversified skill set than Iowa signee, Andrew Fleming (TN-15), who plays the same position. He showed the ability to put the ball on the floor and hit floaters in the midrange with either hand. Although Kennard is a good essay hypothesis athlete and certainly a player who can defend & rebound his position, he is far from an elite athlete. He was unable to do much to slow up PG Malik Newman (MS-15) in this match-up today.
