5/25/14 – USA Basketball U17 Trials (Colorado Springs, Colo.) – Brandon Clay
Samuelson gets labeled as a shooting specialist. I’m not sure that alone is a fair distinction of what she brings to the table long term. The 5-star prep showed herself as a player here competing in EVERY drill and station. She is scoring it off of the bounce creating space. In that way, she scores it similar to Kaleena Lewis (CA-11) did as a high schooler.

1/31/14 – Mater Dei Nike Extravaganza (Santa Ana, Calif.) – Jonathan Hemingway

I believe what could ultimately set Samuelson apart from the other elite players in her class is the consistency that she has on her jumper. She will always be a threat to score double digits at the next level simply because of her ability to shoot the ball at multiple levels on the floor essay about my holiday in pulau pangkor – which in fact makes her a multi-dimensional player. Interestingly – she does not shoot the ball fast, she gets ready to shoot quickly. It is never a rush for her to shoot, because her footwork is compact & efficient. The other parts of her game are equally as efficient as she able to play the role of primary handler, distributor and rebounder at various moments during the game. Her 27 points in a half vs. St. Bernard was as much impressive as it was effortless at times.

12/19/13 – Nike TOC (Phoenix, Ariz.) – Brandon Clay
In what became the night’s marquee matchup, Saint Mary’s College (Berkeley, Calif.), Samuelson went to work with a surgeon’s precision. Currently the nation’s No. 2 prospect in the junior class, Samuelson made a loud statement with her play against ELITE 25 seniors Mikayla Cowling and Gabby Green. The 6-foot-3 forward made shots from all over the floor as she hit open 3-pointers and shots in traffic. After playing for the USA Basketball 16-and-under team this summer, Samuelson looks to have turned another corner in her game. Coming out of this same event last year, we mentioned Samuelson’s need to continue working on her ability to create off of the bounce. She did just that tonight, scoring on an array of moves in the midrange and around the rim.

12/19/13 – Nike TOC (Phoenix, Ariz.) – Chris Hansen
Samuelson continued to build her legacy at the TOC with an outstanding performance. Most impressive was the growth in her physicality, especially when challenged on the essay terms perimeter with tight coverage. She had a great semifinal battle with Mikayla Cowling and even on plays she didn’t score her willingness to drop her hips and initiate contact on the dribble drive was terrific to see.

5/18/13 – U16 National Team Trials (Colorado Springs, Colo.) – Keil Moore
We currently have Samuelson rated as the No. 2 overall prospect. She is a lights out shooter who has added more and more to her game. She can play in the post that drives slower players off the bounce. Samuelson can play all three areas of the pick and roll and make great decisions when doing so. Defensively, she isn’t a world beater but won’t kill you either.

5/17/13 – USA Basketball U16 Trials (Colorado Springs, Colo.) – Brandon Clay
Samuelson didn’t shoot it as well in the first two days as previous evals but did more things on the floor than we’ve seen. She attacked some off the bounce and was more active on the inside. Her bread and butter is still the ability to make the open shot.

12/20/12 – Nike TOC (Phoenix, Ariz.) – Brandon Clay
Was an impressive performance here. See her, Te’a Cooper and Asia Durr as the head of the sophomore class so far. Depends on the day as to which shines brightest. Made shots, impacted the game with her length and was able to defend vs St. Mary’s.

12/20/12 – Nike Tournament of Champions (Phoenix, Ariz.) – Chris Hansen
Seeing a great development in her game, adding the essay on service hours post up of the smaller defender. And she’s not just trying to post inside, she’s doing a good job of getting a strong base and taking her time to finish inside. But she continues to be the premier sharpshooter in the class as well. She appears to be maturing on the court as well and keeping her cool when things aren’t going well.

9/29/12 – MTW Fall Finish (Santa Ana, Calif.) – Chris Hansen
The youngest of the Samuelson’s made big, clutch plays down the stretch for Mater Dei, from a big shot to a key block. The maturity on the floor and willingness to step up in key moments is a sign she is living up to the top 10 potential.

7-31-12 @ Nike Nationals (North Augusta, SC) – Keil Moore
Was very good here. Has the ability to score it in a variety of ways and shoots the ball from the perimeter as well as anyone in the class.

7/7/12 – End of Trail (Portland, Ore.) – Chris Hansen
As we’ve come to expect, once she gets going from the perimeter she is tough to stop. Starting to show better composure when things aren’t going her way. Has the fire and killer instinct.

12/20/11 – Nike TOC (Phoenix, Ariz.) – Brandon Clay
Still learning where she fits in the high school flow. Real skill, can handle and make shots. Solid defender for a freshman on this stage. Plays hard, not overly active in this eval though. Projects as a shotmaker who should be able essay on domestic violence to score facing the basket or in the mid post.

7-30-11 @ Nike Nationals (North Augusta, SC) – Keil Moore
She shot the ball well here. Likes to settle for the perimeter jumper but has more game off the dribble then her older sisters. Could develop into quite the offensive talent if she starts attacking more.

5/15/11 @ West Coast Premier (Los Angeles, Calif.) – Brandon Clay
Talented young player. Right handed shooter. Automatic when given space. Can put it on the floor to create going either way. Sister, Bonnie, is going to Stanford (CA-11) next year.

7-30-10 @ Nike Nationals (North Augusta, SC) – Keil Moore
Great skill set for a young combo forward. Has a solid perimeter game and can put it on the floor going both ways. More of a true wing then her older sisters were. Younger sister of Karlie and Bonnie Samuelson.

7-21-10 @ Music City Madness (Nashville, Tenn.) – Keil Moore
Has a great feel for the game and how to be effective with her skill set without forcing the issue. Has great size and may still grow some more. Appears to be similar to her older sisters, Bonnie CA-11 and Karlie CA-13, but a better athlete.
