Austin Grandstaff – (Rockwall, Texas), – Texas Team Elite – 2015
Height: 6’5″
Position:  Shooting Guard
Committed College: Ohio State

Date: June 18, 2014
Evaluator: Jonathan Hemingway
Location: NBPA Top 100 Camp (Charlottesville, Va.)
Agree with Jon’s eval below 100 percent. Grandstaff was arguably the premier spot shooter in the building. He also was a solid driver off of the catch when the defense closed out and made a nice change of direction to his left hand as well.

Grandstaff established himself as a shooting specialist here today. However, he was far from backing away from the action with his dribble. Early in the camp it was apparent that he was overwhelmed with the athleticism that was on the court. However, by the end of day 2 he had settled in and was picking his spots.

Grandstaff is a wing shooter who is also a threat to put the ball on the floor too. He loves the spin move in traffic. His jumper sets up the rest of his game.
