Blakeney is so explosive off of the bounce. He is shooting it well here today still playing a combo role both on and off the ball.

Blakeney is an explosive athlete who can finish above the rim with strength and ease. He is a scorer who gets a lot of momentum off of getting to the bucket. I think the biggest next level question will be is whether he can be a full time point guard capable of handling the offense or will he simply be a scoring off guard. Blakeney plays the game with plenty of passion and energy. He is the type of player who is not afraid to let others know how well he is playing. It is that passion that really separates him into the pack of the elite in the class.

Like we said in December, Blakeney is a flat out scorer. He hit the 3-pointer and pull up jump shot at 17 feet. Blakeney also pro hopped into a 10 foot pull up jumper as well. He is one of the premier guards in the class.

Blakeney can flat out score it. In a matchup versus St. John Bosco and Tyler Dorsey, Blakeney had 30 points in the game. He’s explosive off the bounce to the rim but a guy who can also make the open 3-pointer. He hit a nice 3 off of the high screen and roll read as well.
