Alex Owens – (Orlando, Fla.), – E1T1 – 2015
Height: 6’9″
Position:  Power Forward
Committed College: Providence

Date: July 17, 2014
Evaluator: Jonathan Hemingway
Location: Nike EYBL Peach Jam (North Augusta, S.C.)
Owens is a glue kid that does not have one elite skill, but the sum of the parts of his game make him an elite player. He does finish around the rim pretty well and rebounds effectively. He does not have great lift, but finds position well enough.

Owens struggled a bit here today with both his production and his conditioning. He appeared bigger here than he did at Christmas time. In an eval like this when he’s not on the top of his game, he’s probably more similar to a Noah Dickerson (GA-15) longterm than the Lubin reference below.

Owens is huge at the 4 spot. His size and build remind me of Rakim Lubin (GA-14/UConn). Owens is more skilled at this point than Lubin was at the same stage. He will run the floor, rebound and finishes well essay help yahoo answers around the rim. He also knocked down his right-handed free throws.
