Brown will push the ball in transition. He has gotten strong enough to take the bump and still make a play around the rim. He’s averaging 15.9 points a game though shooting under 30%. I see him as a scoring guard longterm with the ability to handle. He’s an elite rebounder at the guard position grabbing 8.8 per game.

Brown played really well in this setting. He is a big guard capable of playing on or off the ball. His versatile game/size reminds me of Eric Snow mixed with Aaron McKie. He shot it well here in addition to moving the basketball on offense.

Versatility is Brown’s strong suit. He is a guard who can handle as a lead guard. He was really good in transition where he was able to push the tempo and find teammates. But impressively, he is a good rebounder from the guard position. He pulled down 8 versus All Ohio here today and averaged 7 for the year. His jumper is question mark currently as he did not hit one here today and shot only 31% from the arc on the circuit season.

Brown Jr. is a dynamic scoring point with the skill and ability to play the lead guard spot as well. His ability to make things happen on both ends is impressive. He has the size / skill to be an impactful player immediately at the elite college level.

I like the term “scoring point guard” that Brandon used below to describe Brown. He has the skill to play either backcourt position and do it at a high level. He can create space very well with his dribble moves and will look to score or hit the open player off of the drive. He plays well on the defensive end too as he showed he play hard and get deflections.

Brown played more of a scoring point guard role here. Like the June eval, he showed himself to be a shooter and a scorer. During a matchup with Jaylen Brown (GA-15), Brown was every bit as good as JB. Right now, Troy and DJ Harvey (MD) have separated themselves from the rest of the class at the guard position.

Brown is a smooth guard capable of playing both on and off of the basketball. He got downhill here off of the bounce making a couple of smooth drive/kick type plays in the process. Brown handles the ball high relying on a backdown game from the wing against top shelf athletes like D.J. Harvey and Miles Bridges. Brown shot the 3-pointer consistently during camp. His length/skill reminds me of Jaylen Brown (GA-15).
